I did this ride on the 13 of October and have been meaning to post the report sooner but November and December kind of got in the way.
I did a solo trip to a friendâ??s game farm near Swartriggens to check it out for a DS tour planned for autumn 2008.
The first bit of sand was just near tarlton ,
From there I tried to get as much dirt in as possible,
I stopped on a bridge some where at about 9 am when A guy arrived on an AT without a helmet???
He had herd me go past and came to fetch me to have coffee with him at his place a few 100 meters from the bridge, so I spent the next hour talking to him and his family. \
From there I stopped one more time at this lekker little river to have a midmorning snack when the loud shreek of a troop of baboons nearly made me â??kak in my brook â??
From there it was straight to the game farm. Where we went a game ride , the giraffe were not scared of the 640s loud rear end.
From there I tried to do a different route home and after switching to reserve, I juiced up near sun city, then some awesome dirt roads where I came across this youngster riding his Italjet JC5D.
Now this is a very special model, itâ??s the same bike I learnt to ride on 28 years ago on our plot in the centre of Midrand !!!!!
