Ok i am looking at getting a klr, but i can get a low km (11k) bmw650gs (2002) for under 40k so i am thinking of going maybee that route (resale value ens....)
I know the KLR and DAKAR are more in par, but I will do mostly tar and a bit of gravel.
my question, how does the running costs look like on the GS ? (it does not look like a bike you service yourself - like the Klr)
1. How ofter do you service and what is the cost +- for the service
2. What fuel consumption do you guys get (looks like some guys get close to 25 km/l)
3. What other hidden costs should i know of
