Lady that I know have just bought herself a BMW 650 GS. I haven't seen the bike myself, but apparently the indicator system is on the right hand of the handlebar. The indicators have a special button that must be pressed to cancel the signal. According to her, switching left or right is ok, but to get to the cancel button she must move her wrist upward. Because the unit is mounted on the right hand side, this means she has to let off on the throttle, and this is (obviously) a major problem.
So the first question is - Is it usual for the indicator on a 650 GS to be on the right hand side?
and
If not - is there a chance that the BMW technie mounted the thing on the wrong side?
The bike was bought brand new from BMW.
Thanks for any help.
