I had a great GPS mount made by BMW that clamped on the ADV Screen top cross member = positioning it great in view. It burnt with my out with my HP2. ??? It was made for the early BMW Navigators as I recall but had a universal baseplate that allowed me to use it with a Zumo 500 and then the 660 using their docking. Essentially it could clamp to thin tubing with a clamp lever. Does anyone know if it or similar is still available? What are the alternatives for mounting in this position on the cross-member? Please no Touratech = I have an eversion to their over-engineered bullshit GPS mounts.
