Year: 2007
Price:R45k R40k
Vital stats:
ODO: 49,000 kms
Owned since Feb 2017 when it had 34,000 kms
ABS model
Leo Vince X3 Exhaust
LED Indicators
LED Headlight
Custom perspex screen
Excel front RIM
PSP aluminium luggage rack
Custom sticker kit
2 spare keys
Pirelli Scorpion Road tires @ 80%
Chain and sprockets do not show any wear
Work done on the bike:
New rear brake pads
Oil and filter change every 6,000 kms while I’ve owned it.
Replaced Headset bearings
Replaced rear wheel bearings
Replaced cush drive rubbers
Replaced battery
Ignition switch re-soldered (to fix a common fault)
Replaced clutch cable
Forks recently serviced
Other stuff:
Original Air shock pump included (when I bought the bike, it didn't have one)
Original headlight included
It's currently fitted with a lowered seat. I do have an original seat available if you would prefer that - it's an either/or.... you only get one seat.
Honesty section:
The fuel reserve light doesn't work. I replaced the thermosister (the part that failed) over a year ago and it worked on the bench, but failed again shortly after installing. Since then, I just make a point of re-setting the trip meter when I fill up, and then make sure I fill up when it hits around 190 kms (depending on conditions).
The kill switch doesn't kill the motor, but it will prevent the bike from starting - not sure what that's about.
