Was in northen England a few weeks back, in a village called Rothbury, doing a bit of bike riding and touring. A proper, sunny, hot English day - glorious :biggrin:
Anyways, after stumbling out the empty pub at lunchtime, I walked past the coffee shop next door, packed with bikers. I thought of joining them for the craic, seeing as I know the local dialect and was packed full of new found wisdom, but the thought of creamed cappucino and cress sarmies put me off.
Anyways, one of the meerkats pulled in, nearly blinding me with his hi-vis suit, and climbed off his bike to reveal a BMW HPX. He took a while to move away so I couldn't get a good look at the bike coz of the arc eyes I now had but I did see something different.
Now this is a bike I've never seen before, or even heard of. Does it exist anywhere else on earth? Looked just like an HP2 but with a normal motor, nothing haging out the sides. Coulda been a 650 or maybe an 800, I dunno. Maybe even a 310 dressed up as a bike .............
Is this something new or what? I'm blinded by KTM, so have no clue as to what the minions do ................... :biggrin:
