I have a pair of Axo Boxer Boots that I have been riding in for over two years, this is what they look like:
I bought them for something like R900 and they have served me well. They are still in good nick, but after seeing Leon's fall that resulted in a broken tibia and fibula, it made me re-think my boots.
Leon fell at very slow speed, and it looked like his lower leg, just above the ankle, got pinned between the bike and a rock. When the bike started sliding down the hill, I think his foot/ankle might have twisted, and that may have caused the break, I am not 100% sure. Leon was wearing FLY boots, and I assume that they are in the same class as my Axo Boxer Boots.
I am looking at getting proper boots, because it may prevent a similar injury to my leg.
So what do you suggest between the three boots listed.
Is there any other boots that I can consider in this price range, like the BMW GS Rallye boot maybe???
