Thanks for another great night DB9! Once again it was a kuier of note, so much so that I ended up nodding off next to the fire before schlepping my body off to the tent. The fire was big enough to send everyone back quite a few metres, the drinks bath was full of ice and the food was great.

Best of all, of course, was the great company!  :thumleft:

Don't ask for photies, I took only one of my bike and then my battery died. (On purpose - no picture taking allowed at bosberaad). But I'm sure someone is going to post a few.

A great thanks to DB9 and DB9.5 (Mrs DB9) for a great evening.

I have a few pics on the editing table tyhat I will post when I get "a round tuit"

But it was a seriously lekka trip as always. It is just so nice to get out to the counytry from the town.

I took a walk out dispose of some metabolised sprite zero/OBs/chicken/rolls/coffee/DB9's plum brandy/Jules' mellow bourbon etc etc. I just stood out there for a few minutes under the stars with the distant sound of karkpraat and the smell of grass, goat-shyte, khakibos, fire & meat,  thinking,  "what a lekka life"

Thanks - will always remember these nights.

Steve an Sam took us up the hill to their remote cottage at Dream Lodge – a great place to take the missus or significant other (or significant other-other) 

Party starts to gather

DB9’s magnificent bonfire is lit, and the folks retreat from the furnace

Insider dirt rider puts on ATGAT to get to the fire for braai coals !

Roxenz braves the fire

Next morning – waiting for the water to boil

One partied out not-so-wild dog.

Saturday morning, waking up in pieces in a strange place.  Head hurts, nose is stuffy, eyes are bleeding, mouth feels like a bat cave.  What happened?!  Think! Sheesh that hurts.  Oh yeah... spent time with some drinking swine the night before...  Jay sis, I must have SWINE FLU!!!

I think these bosberaads have morphed into something really lekka.

On the first one it was just "drink met meening" (did KZNer Gunda get that right?) - All I remember is the babelaas.

Second one was less hectic, but still can't remember too much of it.

This one was just chill and kuir and chat and enjoy - and I sure did.
