On my recent trip to the Mud Isle I was lucky enough to do a bit of fishing.
Funny things those Poms are.
My mate was float fishing for Roach, Bleek and whatever little fish he could catch.
As a pike was on my bucket list to catch, I set about trying to attract them with "deadbait". Nothing was happening.
Mate catches a small Roach and proudly shows it to me. I proceeded to grab it out of his hands and put a circle hook through its back and swam the little shit.
well he nearly had a heart attack. Apparently you cant fish live bait on that river.
Well it didnt live to long as a fat old girl of a pike came along and ate it.
Needless to say we had a tussle for the second little "Bleek" but I won in the end and ended up with a second pike.
Farking ugly fish but a really good pull and fight
Both fish were released safely and no other fish were harmed, apart from the little Roach and Bleek
