Steady progress.
Roof is going on and interior fit out has commenced. The electric motors have been installed, watertanks are in with their pumps and accumulators. Wiring runs are being completed.
We are waiting for a container from Denmark with the mast, crossbeam and an additional 5000w inverter. Also getting 50 meters of 318LN Stainless chain from a German company called "Ketten Waelder" . 316 Stainless will not work in the warm water we plan to be in most of the time.
Sails have been ordered from One Sails in the UK.
Carbon foils will be next, just waiting for the final lamination spec from the naval architect. The white foil sticking out of the hull is just a cut down dummy piece used for fitting.

Environmental Consciousness: To what extent are stainless steel anchor chains more environmentally friendly than galvanized anchor chains?

Unlike galvanized chain where you can see the corrosion, stainless chain is very difficult to see. 316L is only good up to about 27 degrees centigrade water temp. At that temperature and higher 318LN should be used to ensure the integrity of a stainless chain. Higher sea water temperature and 316L is a bad combination.
318LN is more expensive, unfortunately. Can't put a price on a good night's sleep at anchor though...
