Buying a helmet

Im getting my KLR650 2008 in about three weeks time and looking for a helmet.  Had a look at the Arai and Shoei ranges, very nice lids, but very expensive.  Saw a HJC FG14 which seems quite alright and priced  at R2600.  Fits nicely and very comfortable.  Do I need a R5000/R4000 lid?  Please give me advice?
