Pack Dog
So this weekend I was with Jerrycan and Linda's on one of their epic adventures.
Unfortunately Linda took a fairly serious fall today. Travelling at about 70km/h on a gravel road we came to a deep patch of sand, possibly with embedded rock or two. Jerrycan and myself made it through (thank goodness I was standing), but in my rear view mirror I had to watch the Linda go down hard. Fortunately her jerry can holders seemed to dig into the ground and anchor the bike a bit, otherwise the bike might have ended up on top of her.
Anyway, Linda has a very painful arm needing an x-ray, and both knees are also in pain so she can't ride. The bike lost the entire instrument panel, both mirrors as well as pannier racks, jerry can holders on both sides, and somehow has scratches on the top of the brake light but is mechanically fine. What I'm trying to do now is get hold of a bike trailer to go fetch Linda, Jerrycan and bike who are still at the Vaal.
Does anyone in the Joburg area have a bike trailer I can borrow? Can pick up tonight or tomorrow and will have it back on Tuesday. Will really appreciate it, I know Jerrycan would do the same for a fellow dog, and you'll have the honor of knowing your trailer carried the bike belonging to the stunning Linda, which has to increase it's resale value ;-)
