Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so sorry in advance if I made a mistake (starting with an apology?? how Canadian of me :lol8
I am going to work in Soweto at the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital from mid November to Mid December.
By that time, riding season is over in Canada so I figured I would use my time in South Africa to extend it a bit!
I therefore have a few questions:
- where can I rent an off-road bike? I have a F800GS at home but i would like to try something more nimble and... well... more affordable (BMW 650, KTM 690, etc... I am 6'4" and 205lbs so i might struggle with 250cc's)
anybody willing to rent one of theirs?
- Does my Canadian license work in SA or do I need to get an international license?
- insurance options?
- any ride recommendations?
any info you think might be useful is welcome :
