Date:Saturday 4th or 11th October 2008 BEEG PROBLEM!! Nick called - he's only available on 15th & 22 November. VENUE Change perhaps..... a Spitbraai sounded nogals really nice..?
Distance from Cape Town: +/- 45km
Road Type: Tar from Cape Town to Grotto Beach t/o - then approximately 3km
Suggested Rally/Meeting Place: Parking area opposite PRIMI in Blouberg just after the "Roundabout with the Whale statue"
Time: 9am
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS.... maybe different route/distance.... ?
Mine... (since this would all be for Ilse's enjoyment/benefit) would be to leave Blouberg area as a group, via Melkbos coast/beach road (to piss off the Harley riders.. >
) via R27 to the Grotto Beach t/off - directly to Groote Post - or maybe via Mamre to Groote Post and then return the coastal route....?
We would also need at least one backup vehicle - this would be to take a wheelchair and if needed, allow Ilse to return in a vehicle should she find the ride to demanding.
Obviously should there be more cages carrying all the kids (farm is very kid friendly) and other family members... this would be a bonus...?
So please chaps... add your name to the list so I can send the request to Nick at Groote Post for catering numbers.!
