Went out to view the nice guys from Cape Trials strutting their stuff at the back of Franschoek dam yesterday. Stunning setting and a nice summer day was fantastic but the big marbles kept the guys on their toes and few chaps scored zero in with all the paddling and then some offs as well but nothing more then a bruised ego. Took the Stellies professor with- apparently a old hand in foot ups and i was expecting the normal wise ass cracks but fortunately the riders could not hear his comments above the beautiful ring ping sounds of the two strokes. He did threaten a few time to show them how to do it with his 701 but just did not have the right shoes on. Superman Kobus Potgieter was also in the mix with his electric trials bike- absolute piece of kit with just a vacuum cleaner sound and then silence again. Nice outing and always in a beautiful settings and super friendly chaps.
