Oh - Captain - next time you're in Grahams town, go visit the observatory museum - as an engineer you'll like it.

They've got a working camera obscura there - very interesting.

And go and post the church photos in the 'church photos' thread under photos as well.

They will fit quite nicely.

Ouch!

What freaked me out about it when I was there was that coming from Grahamstown side it gets shallower, go over a bump and then it goes deeper...

My pistons was under water - the water level was 10 cm under the air intake...

And it was my 1st ever water crossing.

I got onto that little onramp on the other side and stopped right on it - being glad to have not drowned the bike. All the water dripped onto the dry dust/clay/algae and I almost couldn't pull away again...
