I bought a frame with engine, off of which I previously bought the fuel tank and wheels.
I basically need a CDI, and carburettor for the bike, and should be able to get a second bike running. This is a long term project, so when finances allow for it, I'll try to get it running as a second bike...
So I need a carburettor for an XT550. From what I've read, one for a raptor 660 should fit, and with a bit of rejetting, will do the job very well.
Any ideas on where to get one, or a carb that will fit and work? (I know of an XT 550 being stripped for spares standing at a dealer, but they are slightly expensive, but will phone them on Monday. Also, the guy in Klerksdorp might be able to help, but yet again, he's not the cheapest....)
