We went for a one nighter to the Cederberg on the hottest weekend of the year. Went from Cpt over Du Toits Kloof, Slanghoek to Ceres. From Ceres to Op die Berg, Matjiesrivier and our overnight stop Sanddrif.

We had alot of water stops

As it goes, every trip has got its problems... Ours were flat tyres, 1 one my font tyre and one on ET back tyre. Luckely we were prepared and had spare tubes etc. The moste difficult part were to get the back tyre from the rim.

Nice!

I really love Sanddrif.

You spot was right across from the ablution facilities ?

That is lekker close by the river as well.
5 meters and you can go and sit and cool down in the river...

Lekker ride, lekker bikes and lekker photos.

Thanks!

Yes it was the spot, unfortunately the water level were quite low so we were forcerd to walk the 30meters to the "sandgat". ;D ;D ;D

Must say it is one of the nicer campsites i've been.

30 meters ? Arme julle!
:D ;D

I love Sanddrif.

Did you have time to go to the 'Maalgate' ?
If you did - how was the water levels there this time of year ?

Unfortunately not, we only arrived at about 16h00, and after a long day in the heat we only want to chill in the sandgat

I would go and chill in the sandgat too if I were you!

Especially if you still had punctures to sort out.

I looks like it was a lekker ride.

CJ what a great ride especially with all those AT's would love to have been with  ;D super pics , after reading the RR of the W/Cape WD's it looks as though we all had a puncture thrown in for more drama.

Luckely we were able to repair the flats under the shade of a tree on gras at the campsite, and not on the gravel in 40'C sun!

Mooi ou grote! Lyk na 'n lekker trip. Stunning wereld daai. Dis op my todo-list vir seker.

Had a quick run through there with my pillion and overnight at Algeria.  That road puncture 'moetie'!
Lovely place, haven't been to sanddrif, gonna go check it out
