Hi guys,
I hope the collective knowledge can help out here.
My bike was serviced yesterday by one of the local "big" dealers. On my way back home I heard this "singing" noise; which bothered me, but I couldn't figure out what it is. When I stopped at a traffic light, I felt the chain and voila: I could use my chain as a guitar string... :angryfire:
I stopped at the closest bike shop off Buitengracht and loosened the chain there. Old Tim almost cracked himself when I told him I just had the bike serviced.
I check the sprockets for bent teeth, but they looked OK and there is no oil leaking out at the seal on the front sprocket (as far a the naked eye can see past the sprocket gaurd).
Long story short: The chain was obviously set without any load on the seat by the dealer mechanic. My bike is not under warrantee any more.
Do you think I have any legal recourse should something related break in the near future?
