Guys.... I know nothing about milliamps and volts and charging time.
Question.... Can one charge a Garmin device using 'normal' AA batteries. I want to charge my 920 watch for 5 days in a row when doing the RICHETRSVELD WILDRUN in June 2016. (200 km of running over 5 days). There are no electricity in the area and I was thinking of using AA batteries (4 of them at a time) to do the charging. The solar gadget / external battery that Garmin sells are to slow to recharge itself (and to expensive).
OK you can stop laughing now.
Is this possible and how long would the 'charge' take. I promise that I will not discard the old batteries in the veld.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
