Grumpy Mutt
It has been coverred in a few posts but not in a very consolidated manner. 8)
So a friend bought a 99% complete and original (but in boxes) 1969 Norton Commando 750S, it has now been assembled it is running and is a beauty, however he has no papers.
It was bought legit from the original (one owner) owner, who was a friend of my mate and had bought it new and had dismantled it to restore 20 years ago.
He sold it as he had lost interest and was terminally ill with cancer and has since passed away, his wife has no idea where the papers were and has little interest either.
So we have the bike, we have its original Transvaal number plate, and the engine/frame numbers.
What next?
Police clearance?
Microdots?
30 years of back roadtax?
