Qualified Diesel Mechanics / Technicians are required to be trained as Vehicle Inspectors to perform the MECHANICAL ASSESSMENT of trucks and buses. The applicant must have:-
• At least 5 years’ experience in the commercial vehicles sector
• Must be a qualified diesel or petrol mechanic or technician
• Knowledge and experience in repair cost calculation on damages will be an advantage
• Must be computer literate and comfortable in using tablet PC’s and smart phones
• Ability to communicate well with people at all levels
• Must be well groomed and have a strong customer focus and the ability to maintain good relationships with clients.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Previous experience in vehicle examination, assessment, appraisal or vehicle diagnostics will be an advantage.
• Preferable availability to commence duties - JUNE 2016.
• Will be trained, certified and accredited to be a TUV SUD Inspector.
Positions based in Gauteng. Attractive salary package depending on experience.
