Continental dual purpose tyres

Just spoken to a gentleman at Conti SA importers. He told me this is a new dual purpose tyre for the big trail bikes. Retail price will be in the region of around R1200-R1400 rear and R700 front. The guy was seriously under the impression that this tyres, of which is pictured under here is a dual purpose tyre.  ???  : And as such this model is not listed on any of the Conti sites.

What I don't like is what's happening with dual purpose bikes, it's all made for the Euro market and it seems the tyres are also going that way, this does not really look like a proper dual purpose tyre, more like a road motard tyre.

Is there any body here that has tried this tyre?

This is the Conti Escape that is listed for bikes less than 1150cc and maxs rear size is a 140/80/17 any 650cc can use them.
