I am in the market soon for new scoot. I tentatively have a 24' 500 on order. However, l am looking for a bit of a hooligan tool, something l can do a few off road rides, fun enduros, adventure weekends, Dallie's Pongola 500, even perhaps a gxcc etc on. So l am not ruling a 690 out, because that motor has a bit more horses. What is the possibilities, especially on the suspension side to convert a 690 into a proper toy? It doesn't even needs flickers or a nr plate, and l always like something the next guy have... Or should one stick to the 500 and worry no further..
