I am busy building a CR750 replica.
Difference is I am going to put it in road going trim.
Its been progressing slowly as things do when you have to fabricate without any plans or previous experience with a particular model.
Lots of things cant be done until other aspects of the build have firmed up. The aluminium oil tank took three go's before it finally looked right.
I need to start shopping for parts now, mostly period stuff that define the bike like footpegs, grips, rev counter and oil pressure gauge etc.
Bike as bought. An ex race bike ideal for chopping up even further.
