Cruise controls - how good are they and which one?

On a  the trip to Augrabies end of June my right arm got seriously tired and sore of holding the throttle open fro so long.  I've got of those plastic thingies you put your wrist on, it helps but even with that I developed a tennis elbow.

I'm thinking of getting a Kaoko cruise control.  Any reviews on it?
