I just had a custom bash plate made for my Honda Transalp. I think the guy did a fantastic job. Perhaps a few too many holes but that's easily rectified but it doesn't change the lines of the bike.
It's made from 4.5mm aluminium.
It extends all the way to the back, protecting the belly.
It clips in at the back and is held on with three bolts in front using the standard mounts so it's easy to remove for servicing.
Lots of holes on mine for weight, cooling and makes it easy to clean behind.
It is custom so it wasn't particularly cheap (R2200.00) but I am pretty sure if a batch order was placed, he could do a good deal. He will also make up custom stuff for other bikes so give him a call if you need something along these lines.
