Need some advise please.
A friend of mine recently bought a Dakar at Suzuki Toystore in Pretoria.
The bike was serviced with fresh oil, filter, plugs etc.
Arriving at work yesterday, the bike was leaking oil, upon closer investigation, we found that the oil was coming from the top of the engine. We took the oil tank off and found that there is a small pipe that connects the oil tank and the top of the engine. The pipe came off on the engine side due to the clamp being worn. We got a new clamp and clamped the pipe back onto the engine. checked the oil and topped it up a bit.
This morning on his way to work, there was a smallish explosion coming from the top of the engine, the bike is still running fine, but we suspect the pipe must have come off again.
Is the oil tank pressurized? any ideas?
