When I got my GSA the first thing I noted was that it turned sharper.
The second thing was that the throttle responce and performance were down.
Sunday enroute to Groot Marico my riding buddy and I did some tests. The two bikes were, 2006 1200GS with 9000km, acras end can and 2006/7 GSA with 21000km standard
1.) Sixth gear, accelerate from 100km/h
2.) Fifth gear, accelerate from 100km/h
3.) Sixth gear, accelerate from 5000 rpm to top end
The 12GS pulled away from me everytime by a good margin. (between 30 to 60m)
Do the ackras really make such a difference or did BMW de-tune the bikes?
