GPS boffins please help.
Imagine this -
- Garmap African Series 2009, Southern African Streeetmaps 2009 loaded on both laptop and GPSMap 60CS unit.
- Plot a route on laptop and successfully transfer the maps, waypoints and route to the GPS unit.
- In Routing setup menu it is set to "Follow the road, car, faster time and next turn pop-up

- If you now open the route and ask the unit to show the route to you on the unit's map, the unit draws a series of straight lines connecting the various waypoints and the destination - it does not follow the roads that I have plotted on the computer.
WTF? :'(
Can anyone shed some light on this please?
