OK, once the jokers have done their thing with the subject heading...
I dont ride with plugs nearly enough, but when I do, I find that I dont sense my speed as I would do without them. Thus, by the time I look down at the speedo, I am faster than I think. Much Faster! From this I detract that I ride mainly by my sense of sound and less so by sight (visual perception of speed). My last two bikes didnt have rev-counters, so I was sort of forced to listen to the engine.
My questions are:
* Has anyone else noticed this?
* Is it a bad thing to ride by senses, particularly sound (I dont look at the cluster much).
I use LaserLite Plugs which I get free at work.
You can have earplugs customised for you ears as well, friend of mine rides with them and loves it.
