I've just come back from watching Day 1 - "Super Special Stage" just outside Dubai. All I can say is :biggrin: :thumleft: :biggrin:

The "super special stage" was conducted on a (slightly) modified MX track. Trucks and all
Apologies for the blurred pictures but some of these guys are quick! The next 5 days will see them competing in stages mostly in "the empty quarter" of the UAE. The Desert Challenge is widely regarded as the warm up for the "Paris-Dakar". The finish will be in Dubai.
