Duro dual sport tyres- any serious vices?

I need to replace the tyres on my Honda 250 Rally and the only cheap alternative to Mitas, etc. that I can find is Duro which sell for R915/R1280 : front/rear. The Mitas, etc. sell for about R1600/R2400- same tyres as on my Africa Twin.
I have never used a Duro before. Does it have some serious draw backs e.g. very poor grip on a wet tar road, very low km- less than 6000km, etc.?
