Took about 2 hrs to do as you have to remove the cables and the carb is like a puzzle to get out. I installed the 160  (which is the same as a 178 Keihin jet) main jet, the needle, the UNI filter, pilot screw adjusted 2.5 turns out and removed the snorkle from the airbox. There was a 152 Keihin jet installed.

What did it do? Low down to almost mid range it feels the same but throttle response is better. Also, it starts easier. Mid range to higher up it pulls so much better. Its almost like it has a different cam in or something. At 80kph in 4th if you wack open the throttle 120kph is up in no time.

So it would indicate the bike was a little lean from the factory. To go from a 152 main jet to 178 is a big jump.
