What would the options be in order to make contact with someone in the case of an emergency while riding off the beaten track and in very remote areas?
Pro's and cons and also the operating cost to existing systems and devices that is currently available.
I am thinking to the likes of satellite phones, the Inreach device or Inreach in Garmin or any other possibilities.
Obviously one wants something as cost effective as possible but the main function should be to basically get hold of someone, be contacted in an emergency or getting hold of emergency reaction units.
