I have been considering knee braces - or at least, more substantial knee guards - but can't nearly afford the likes of the PodMX (even though renz.co.za has them on special for just over R6k).
I came across this: the EVS SX02. Retails for R3700 on mxalliance.co.za.
Thoughts?

A substantial upgrade over the SX01, the SX02 offers riders with a strong need for a limit on flexion (bending) or extension (straightening) the choice to dial in those limits in 15 degree increments with the high-tech aircraft aluminum medical grade hinges on this brace. Also a perfect choice for riders that are looking for a taller brace with additional fitting adjustment, as it offer 4 compression straps. Very low-profile, which fits quite easily inside any motocross pant. Heavy duty knee cup.
Customizable flexion and extension stops
4 compression straps for added support and placement
Airprene " material for maximum light and cool feel "
Universal design fits right or left
