Hi dogs.

As you know, I am looking for a 1150gs adventure.

I found a decent condition, low kilo's bike that seems to be a good buy, BUT the exhaust mounting at the silencer (the one at the pillion pegs) is cracked loose from the frame. This is the second 1150 adventure in less than a week that I viewed that had this problem. The last bike has 59,000km on the clock and has the standard silencer. The first one had a remus initially, but then changed to original later on.

Is this frame crack at the mounting a well known problem? How do you rectify it? I dont really like the idea of welding frames..

Also, took the bike from today (the one with the 59,000km) for a long ride and it feels weird to sit in the bike rather than on top. Is there a higher seat option available?
