2014 F800GSA just bought from GS Traders. Bike well looked after and good service history. Sorted steering head bearings with Jughead and love the bike apart from a starting issue. Initial thoughts on my side was battery so replaced but still the same issue occurs. Jughead is off on a trip and will only be back otherwise I would be chatting with him. Received great service from him and was really happy with the bike and hopefully this is the last issue to sort.
Trying to start will give a loud metallic clunk. After that it may start at second press or make the same noise. Tried googling but not finding a common theme for the f800s. I need someone in PE who is recommended for diagnostics so I can resolve this with the dealer. I have seen Joel's business on the net in Port Elizabeth. Anybody have advice on either?
