Got my bash plate and crash bars yesterday from Bikegear. Made plans for Saturday to do the fitting.

Now..... even though i love my mate "jannie" hehehehe, who helped me, by days end i could have killed him. And this is why.............

Get the beers in. Get out the tools. After 20 minutes and a quick call to Groenie to make sure the bike wont snap in half when i take out the bolts under the tank we start pimping my ride  ;D

Follow the pics.....

First and last time you guys will see my bike naked...hahahaha eeeiiissshhh prefer her with her clothes on.

Me and my mate working hard on the bike.

Whats wrong with this pic...................... 10 points if you see it without checking the next pic.

hahahaha the poepol put my peg on upside down.

Good laugh..........  ;)

Then it started to rain and we moved into the garage. Now ive told my mate 27 times not to put to much tension on the bolts when he tightens them........................ when removing the foot peg and setting it in the right position..........

SNAP

There goes the bolt... snapped the head off. I now realise that asking a friend to help was the biggest mistake of my life....hahahahahaha. Funny now, this afternoon i was "die moor in"

5 minutes with a hammer and screw driver to get it out. And then, the new bolt wont line up with the holes.

Friend and g/f are trying to calm me down cause by now im telling them there life stories..... Take a break and do a dance with maryjane. Alles gaan nou reg wees.

We get it fitted just as im about to get out the drill and make the hole bigger on the crash bars.

Moral of the story...... make your friends sit in a chair and fetch beer for the day.

Never again... never  :D
