Looking to go on a quick recce of Sandalpers midweek trip this morning, kit up, move cages to get the bike out, and turn the key - nothing!!!!!
Remove seats, fiddle around - not very technical me!! Get the manual out and start reading..........
My last ride was on Friday last week, so it has not been standing long, so I am assuming the battery has just done its time - I do remember it battling a couple of times in the early cold mornings recently - is this a sign? Bike is a 2004 model, and I dont think the original owner changed the battery. I read in the manual that there is a BMW trickle type charger that can be purchased - has anybody used one of these?
I have removed the battery, and will try and charge it overnight, and see in the morning, otherwise new one on its way!!!
