Time to sell my white elephant :-\
2001 KTM 250 EXC 2T
Bought him late 2009 and have ridden him possibly 20 times due to time constraints.
Previous owners were all coastal based so there is surface corrosion on most surfaces.
The rear rim has a poorly repaired but strong and reliable patch from a previous owner. This has never given me any troubles or cause for concern.
The bike has been a solid runner and starts first time provided it has fuel and a spark.
When I bought it, he needed some TLC, so I:
-Replaced Swing arm bearings
-Replaced Shock Heim? joint bearing
-Replaced front and rear wheel bearings
-Replaced rear brake disk
-Replaced bars with high rise fat bars which will accomodate a Scotts damper
-Rebuilt/serviced front forks and installed new seals and push button fork bleeders
-Rebuilt/serviced rear shock
Bought Hyde bash plate, front disk protector and swing arm protectors.
