The day has come where I am going to say farewell to my trusty and much loved old steed.
Only reason I , very reluctanty, want to do this is I do not have parking space.
Bought in 2007. One of the first 2008 models I could get.
29 000 plus minus on clock....30 000km service already done.
SW Motech crashbars
Doc Bashplate (original available)
Doo done by Doc
Orange light cover
Wide footpegs (originals available)
Tyres still good for quite a few kilos.
Registered, on the road and all papers in order
Keys and books available
Bike has never let me down. I once had a fall but there was only cosmetic/ plastics damage and it was fixed by Doc.
Mechanically 100%, cosmetically 75% (front mudguard is badly faded & scratched but not cracked). Few nicks and marks here & there. Someone knowledgeable in these things can most probably spit and polish the bike themselve but if someone should spend a grand or two and have it dipped it will look as new.
In my experience all KLR's use oil and this one does not use more than those of my friends I rode with.
R 28 000-00 neg (around what a new 125 cost you these days).
