Grey Hound
Hi all dawgs!
My 3rd GS is up for grabs due to a change in season and purpose. (Will perhaps regret it - but will get over it)
Thinking of getting something smaller like a 200 - 650 to ride with Biela (got gomoto 200)for the next year or two untill he is 18 and we both can skep some GS'e again, meanwhile we wil still "travel gravel" with you WD's!
She is a 2005 model, 22900km (will be +23000 soon)
I bought it 2nd hand from a guy in Gauteng at about 6000km, Oct 2007.
Speedbike Bloem did the 10 000km service. I have the service book.
Myself did the 20 000km service, did replace brake pads, front and rear (BMW ones).
Oil change, filters, set valve clearances, no plugs changed.
I only had one "sandmonster" encounter and one "mudmonster" encounter where the bike hit the ground.
I have the MAXXIS Presa tyres on, did about 4000km.
Flaws: (beside the normal wear & tear)
I had a 2 brothers zost on and the sucker (or rather blower) burned a hole in my left pannier, been fixed again. (2brothers sold) It also burned the left flicker and number plate and holder a bit.
On the "mud" day the same left pannier's left hook broke off as well as the plastic around the locking mechanism, I fixed it with Superglue, did the Sani and lots of other rough gravel afterwards with no side affects.
Lost a bashplate but been replaced.
Extras include: (ABS & heated grips std)
1. Aftermarket high screen (Auto Alpina), takes a lot of wind from the pillion.
2. Wind deflectors (as on GSA)
3. One Hella female socket (left)and one std cig socket (right)
4. Wide footpegs
5. Cushions on Topbox
6. Topbox and panniers
7. Light protector
8. Plastic cyl head protectors.
9. Crashbars (dunno the brand)
10. Go the bracket for the spots (havent put new ones on after the sand thing), wiring, switch, all there.
11.HID globe and ballast (in dimm socket only.)
12. BMW handle bar raisers (25mm)
13.Throttle control nut BMW
Still financed at BMW Finance.
Looking for R98000 for all please.
