Buff
Grey Hound
Sale withdrawn, I got sellers remorse before even selling it ;D
*******************************************************************
I've decided to let this one go, mostly because I hardly ride her now that I have the YZ250.
Details:
Make: Yamaha WR450F
Year: 2009 registered 2010
Kilo's: 6 500km
Full road worthy kit
Price: R39 000
I bought her with the intention of doing the Amageza but with me racing the Offroad series, that's not going to happen this year. The bike is in good condition. It's a dirt bike so it has the normal bumps and scratches but the motor is solid. What I've done to her since I had her (through Droomers Yamaha):
Had the valves checked and adjusted to spec (only one exhaust valve was slightly out)
Replaced fork seals and serviced forks
Replaced sprockets and chain
Replaced chain guide
Fitted new tires (both still good)
Had her road worthied
Added more modern front fender
Fitted new clutch lever
Extras supplied: New chain slider and User manual
Known issues: One bolt tag on the left radiator is broken off, but might only need attention if fitting a long tank tank. The hooter isn't working but it might just be a lose connection (I havent bothered checking).
As far as I know, she's stock standard. I put 1 500km's on her since I got her without a days hassle... she is after all a Yamaha ;D She also got serviced at 6000km.
I'm pretty sure I'll be able to arrange finance for her if required but that will need to be arranged and might costs a few extra bucks.
PS, I don't recommend this bike for an inexperienced rider, she is a bit of a handful :thumleft:
