And finally it happened - I've read about it on the ADV Forum - that is the comming off of the black front panels.
Did a quick run on the highway this morning at @ 140km/h heard a "whap" and an immediate slam on my knee, looked down and there it was - the black plastic fearing panel bent all the way back after comming unattached from the front turn-clip. It destroyed the aluminum panel.
Phoned BMW - R2500 ??? ???, phoned our avid Lyndhurst friend, thanks Mike, which referred me to a very helpfull Brad which will keep his eyes open.
