On 24 April 1945 37 men died in a massacre in a cavern along the coast of Croatia.

It is here that I dropped off two of the Geocaching travelbugs that were amongst Glen's posessions when he died.

I have had them with me since they were sent to me and for various reasons they were never placed back into circulation.

I was in Croatia during July and finally managed to drop the trackable items off in a location I think is appropriate. 2,5 year later.  :(

Both trackable items have since been collected and have resumed their travels

1: The Cave
2 & 3. The memorial
4 & 5. The Ancient stone steps built by the Romans (where the cache is hidden)

Safe travels.

Why/how were the people massacred?

ETS I tried to determine that but I suspect it was anti-fascists that were massacred close to the end of ww2.

I will ask when I go back next year
