Been using these tanks weekly for a few years now on my daily commute and eventually thought to share some of the convenience of the range they supply. I have run up to 440km on the combined tanks which on a trip makes for a lot less hassle concerning range.
I easily commute a full week (5 days) on a 75km daily round trip on mostly open highway at a leisurely 145-150kmh. At this particular fill I had an estimated 2.5 litres in reserve remaining, but it was a hard throttle week with lots of head wind.
The extra weight quickly disappears as the fairing tanks drain into the main tanks so is never really an issue unless you plan to tackle hard terrain straight off the pumps.... If you ever bump into a set, they are worth every penny . There are other options, but this works for me...!
