I usually hate Mondays, but today thanks to Lyndhurst, I've got a nice toy to play with.

So far this bike is really fun to ride in the street, and in between cars. Being quite high, one can really filter traffic without worrying about clapping other cars' mirrors.

Although the seat height is quite impressive at first, this bike is really easy to get used to. But the first thing that came to my mind while pulling off from Lyndhurst, was that the bike felt incredibly light and agile. Pulling off from the first robot, the bike was wheeling very naturally.

The front brakes are quite sharp, but still progressive. The rear brakes tend to lock the wheel very quick, which adds to the fun. >:D
The front forks are really interesting, one of the best I've tried on Beemers after the HP2 - I think. But it's probably too early to say though.

The engine still feels a bit like the old F650's Rotax, but quite smooth on the entire power band which makes it very user-friendly, and allows you to take it easy should you 'really' need to. In other words, the bike is quite comfortable when ridden at an easy pace.

So my first impression was that the XMoto is really fun to ride, but probably not the most practical Beemer to ride. Well it wasn't really designed to do touring with the girlfriend / wife and panniers.
