Hi everyone,
I've just bought a 390LM off of a fellow Wild Dog.
Reading online there are multiple reports of GPS units draining the battery when the bike/GPS is off.
I have a lockable bracket for my Garmin, so it may well live on my 990 Adventure for extended periods or serve duty on another bike from time to time.
Should I be wiring it up direct to battery terminals or is there another, preferable method for powering the unit? Do I simply run the power cord to the power socket?
Thanks.
