Looking for some advice / experience with the Overlander please:
- I understand that you cannot interface with the unit from Basecamp directly, but can still do everything via the Garmin Explore app? Does this add any complications or is it just the new way of doing things?
- Is it possible / simple to send gpx tracks to the unit and display them on the map?
- Can you show and hide tracks on the map as and when required? Not navigate the track. I don't want the GPS to calculate a route, it messes up the track and change to the "best" route per installed map. I only want to see the track on the map.
- Can you change the colour of the displayed tracks on the map?
- Has anyone paired the Overlander with an Inreach Mini2? Simple to operate / type sms's via the Overlander?
Any other pros and cons you have experienced? Any advice highly appreciated!
